G Maps Scraper helps customers collect and organize information that is visible on public Google Maps business and place pages. This notice explains what that means and the responsibilities that remain with each customer. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
What the service processes
Depending on the operation selected and what is publicly available, results may include a business or place name, category, address, telephone number, website, opening hours, coordinates, rating, review count, public reviews, public photos, and publicly displayed business contact or social links. A result can contain personal data when a public listing or review identifies an individual.
The service does not grant access to private Google account data. Customers must not use it to obtain data behind an authentication barrier, evade access controls, collect special-category or highly sensitive personal data, or target individuals for harassment, discrimination, surveillance, or other unlawful purposes.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for selecting a lawful purpose and legal basis, giving any required notices, honoring applicable objections and deletion rights, limiting collection to what is necessary, and complying with Google’s terms and all laws that apply to your use and jurisdiction. The fact that information is publicly visible does not by itself make every collection or downstream use lawful.
Do not use results for eligibility decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, healthcare, or other similarly consequential decisions. Do not use results for unsolicited communications unless those communications and the underlying data use are permitted by applicable law.
Retention, reuse, and removal
Accepted raw observations and normalized records are stored in our private product database so we can deliver results, deduplicate observations, improve normalization, investigate abuse, and support future product use. They are not made public by us. Regenerable exports and temporary transfer objects expire or are deleted separately. Retention remains subject to valid deletion, suppression, and legal requirements described in the Privacy Policy.
To request access, correction, suppression, or deletion, or to report a result that should not be processed, contact contact@gmapscraper.io and include enough information to identify the record. We may preserve a minimal suppression record when necessary to prevent the same data from being reintroduced.

G Maps Scraper is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. We do not represent that Google approves scraping or that use of the service is lawful for every customer, data type, or location.
