Questions about products, usage, and data.
What are the Extension, Online scraper, and API?
They are separately packaged products. The Extension runs a browser workflow, Online runs durable keyword jobs in a hosted workspace, and API exposes durable Search, Reviews, and Photos operations through REST and MCP.
Can I try a scrape without signing in?
Yes. The landing-page tool allows up to three admitted requests per UTC day for a bound browser identity and network source. Abuse controls can deny a request before that limit is reached.
How does Online usage count?
Online plans count unique, server-normalized records accepted into a durable dataset. Invalid, duplicate, suppressed, and unpublished rows do not consume the record allowance.
How does API usage count?
One accepted Search, Reviews, or Photos request for one source page is one API unit. Pre-admission validation, authentication, quota, and infrastructure denials are free; a durably admitted request remains billable if it later returns empty, partial, or failed.
Which file formats are supported?
You can export extracted Google Maps data to CSV, JSON, or Excel files.
Can I change or cancel a paid plan?
Eligible self-serve plans can be managed through the authenticated billing portal. A scheduled cancellation normally remains effective through the paid billing period; the portal shows the authoritative effective date.
Can I use the data for any purpose?
No. You are responsible for a lawful purpose, honoring source terms and applicable privacy, marketing, and suppression requirements, and verifying data before consequential use. Review the Public Data Notice and legal terms.
Does closing the landing page delete all observations?
The temporary result capability expires, but canonical observations may remain in the platform database for deduplication, provenance, safety, and lawful product operations as described in the Privacy Policy and Public Data Notice.
